Our vision of Mancor is to be the recognized "First-In-Class" supplier in our industry. In other words ... we simply want to be the BEST in terms of Quality, Delivery and Value. We know we are there when our customers brag about Mancor to their other suppliers. At the same time we want Mancor to grow profitably with a conservative financial structure to ensure the company's long term viability. It is also important to us for Mancor to be a great place to work and to enjoy our working relationship with our customers.

Mission

We want to help our customers be more profitable and successful and in the process become more successful ourselves. As a result, we focus on how to reduce our customers' costs through re-engineering and process improvements. In turn, our customers award us additional business which helps us to be more successful.

QDC Approach

Central to our business approach is what we call QDC - Quality, Delivery & Cost. All three are EQUALLY important and must be focused on. Customers that share this philosophy with us do very well in their respective markets and as a result, we share in that success with them.

Quality

Quality starts at the top in any organization. As a result our management takes a very proactive approach. Our President personally teaches SPC to the plant personnel. Our Director of Quality develops programs and approaches to ensure each of the plants has the tools and training to ensure proper operations. Investing in CNC measuring equipment is a priority with the goal of the operator doing his own inspections. Continual performance measurements are maintained and shared with all of our plants and our customers.

We are ISO9001 certified in all our Plants, which has proved to be particularly useful in enforcing the use of Quality Plans for new parts. Our PA Machining facility was also QS9000 certified and is now certified to the new TS16949 standard. QS9000 and TS16949 have many elements that are the backbone to good business practices and have been very helpful in running that plant. Based on the success at PA we are in the process of implementing ISO/TS16949 in all our plants.

Delivery

We understand very well that our customers' success every day is having the material they need every day without the hassles of expediting phone calls and emergency freight. To that end, our President receives a list of any part that is not shipped from any plant on time ... every day!! The result is the whole organization is focused on looking after the customer even when schedule changes or surprises from our customer makes this challenging indeed. We work hard to have information integrity between Mancor and the customer, and make full use of the benefits of EDI schedules.

Cost

Mancor's approach is to take out costs in order that we can both WIN-WIN. It is far better to help with the initial design to ensure the cost never gets there in the first place. As Mancor grows, our information and buying power also improves. We are a member of the HPM Consortium which is a group of companies that share best practices and ideas for Lean Manufacturing. This interaction helps keep us on our toes in terms of continually improving and never being satisfied.
